Happy Thanksgiving!!

I’d like to wish Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends and readers who celebrate this wonderful holiday.  I’ve always loved turkey day and I’m truly grateful for all the blessings it represents – family, friends, and sharing our appreciation for life’s abundance.

And I’m so grateful to all you lovely people who read my books – I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to know that you enjoy them.  You are truly a blessing in my life.

Have a splendid day, embrace your crazy relatives, enjoy the pie, and stay safe on the roads.  See you back here next week!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!  I’m thankful today for so many things – my family and friends, my readers and my pals in the writing community, and the fact that I live in a wonderful country where I can read whatever I want and write whatever I want.  I am very fortunate to live in a free country, and I’m especially grateful to the men and women in the military who protect that freedom.

I hope for all of you that your Thanksgiving is a peaceful and happy day with the people you love, full of laughter, joy, and great food.

Just a side note – you probably recognize the picture at the top of this post – it’s Norman Rockwell’s Freedom From Want.  Here’s an interesting tidbit for you.  When he was just a lad, my uncle was a neighbor of Rockwell’s, and he posed for some of his famous neighbor’s paintings.  Here’s my Uncle Bill in another iconic painting, No Swimming.

Uncle Bill is the kid on the right.  Cool, eh?

Have a great Thanksgiving, everyone!
